What is a GiftCollege Webinar?
A GiftCollege Webinar is a live, optional review session moderated by Crescendo attorneys using the telephone and your computer. GiftCollege students listen to the instructor on the Webinar call and are able to ask the instructor questions, very similar to a conference call format. Additionally, students are able to view the material on the instructor’s computer screen during the Webinar from their own computer using the Internet.
Why should I attend a GiftCollege Webinar?
The GiftCollege Webinar is an excellent way to review the topics covered in the past month's GiftCollege webcast as you prepare for the final certification exam. These live, optional sessions are designed for those GiftCollege students who desire a deeper knowledge of, or have questions about, the topics to be covered during that particular Webinar.
When are GiftCollege Webinars held?
The GiftCollege Webinar schedule is available on the GiftCollege website under "Schedule" and either "CGPA Fall 2008-09" or "CGPA Winter 2008," depending on the course you are taking. Webinars are held on the last Thursday of each month. A typical Webinar will review the sections covered during the previous month with the corresponding quizzes and will last approximately 30 minutes.
How do I Register / Sign Up for a GiftCollege Webinar?
You must register for each GiftCollege Webinar before the scheduled date. GiftCollege students that enroll in a CGPA or CGPP course are automatically added to the GiftCollege Webinar e-mail list and receive a notice from GiftCollege Coordinator Lynne McGuire about the scheduled Webinar with registration information. Follow the e-mail instructions or, if you need help or do not receive the Webinar registration e-mail at least one week prior to the scheduled date, e-mail Lynne at lynne@cresmail.com or call 1-800-858-9154.
How do I Attend a Scheduled Webinar?
A few minutes before the scheduled GiftCollege Webinar, you must phone into (a) the Webinar call and (b) login to the Webinar website. GiftCollege students that have registered will receive an e-mail from the GiftCollege Coordinator before the scheduled Webinar date containing the (a) Webinar call-in information (phone number and access code) and (b) Webinar website login information. This information will be different for each Webinar. Follow the e-mail instructions or, if you need help or do not receive the Webinar login information e-mail prior to the scheduled date, e-mail GiftCollege Coordinator Lynne McGuire at lynne@cresmail.com or call 1-800-858-9154.
What are the System Requirements to Participate?
In order to participate in the webinar, the system requirements for PC-Based attendees are Windows® 2000, XP Home, XP Pro, 2003 Server or Vista. For Macintosh-based attendees Mac OS® X 10.3.9 (Panther®) or newer is required.
